Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking a Risk Officer to support the PMO Risk team in maintaining risk data, producing reports, and improving risk processes. You will work across the business to ensure data accuracy and provide high-quality reporting that informs decisions.

The role requires analytical capability, experience in risk management, and collaboration with Risk Managers, Programme teams, and Stakeholders in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Hybrid working from northern UK locations is offered.

Qualifications

• Practical experience supporting risk management activities within a project, programme or business environment.
• Understanding of risk management principles, processes and governance.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret and present data clearly.
• Experience producing reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at different levels.
• Proactive, collaborative and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve risk data within Risk Management Information Systems (ARM).
• Produce regular and ad-hoc risk reports, dashboards and analyses using ARM, Power BI and Excel.
• Support Risk Managers and stakeholders in applying risk management processes consistently.
• Perform risk data quality reviews and help maintain risk registers.
• Identify trends and insights from risk information to support decisions.
• Support risk reviews, workshops and action-tracking activities.
• Provide system guidance to users of risk management tools.
• Assist with developing risk management guidance and training materials.
