We have an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious compliance professional in Bournemouth!

We are working with a leading Law Firm to find a new Risk & Compliance Manager to support their dynamic team.

The perfect candidate is an enthusiastic individual with directly related experience working within a large law firm or legal department. Within this role, you will lead a team of compliance professionals and collaborate across the business to embed a strong compliance culture, drive performance, and provide guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise various compliance professionals to ensure best practice standards are upheld.
• Handle complaints and complex compliance queries.
• Ensure key documentation, overview spreadsheets, and various policies are regularly updated.
• Assess and update the central risk register to produce a monthly review for the COLP and COFA.
• Stay up to date with relevant legislative changes and ensure internal processes reflect them.
• Oversee general and new-joiner compliance training firm-wide where necessary.
• Assist the COLP and COFA in compliance investigations.
• Handle the monthly file review process, delegating tasks and reviewing trends/patterns of concern to address.

The ideal candidate has exceptional organisational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
