TRR is recruiting for a Compliance Manager role, which involves managing a small team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top 100 firm with a strong reputation, during an exciting period of growth with multiple new people strategy initiatives. The role is suitable for a Senior Analyst level candidate with some leadership or mentoring experience, or for an existing Compliance Manager seeking a company with a fantastic culture and a strong compliance focus.

Working arrangements

• Bournemouth (Hybrid 1-2 days per week)
• Southampton or London (with 1-2 days per week in Bournemouth)

The Role

1. Lead a small compliance team (~5/6 members) to maintain high standards of regulatory compliance.
2. Ensure policies, key documents, and risk registers are up-to-date in accordance with the latest regulations.
3. Oversee Lexcel and CQS accreditations.
4. Monitor regulatory changes, implement updates, and conduct training as necessary.
5. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by driving initiatives to enhance processes and compliance frameworks.

Key Skills / Experience Required

• Strong experience in compliance management within a law firm or legal services environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to legal compliance.
• Experience across various compliance areas such as AML, Conflicts, PEPs, Sanctions, CDD, etc.
• Good leadership, mentoring, and tutoring skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
