Cadent Gas Ltd is seeking a Risk and Assurance Support Officer in Leicester to strengthen risk controls across Capital Delivery projects and the supply chain. You will support planning, design and delivery of second-line assurance activities, ensuring robust assurance programmes and effective risk management.

You will analyse information, investigate issues, and work with stakeholders to drive improvements in performance and compliance.

Formación

• Knowledge of assurance, auditing, risk management or compliance activities within a regulated environment.
• Ability to assess information, identify trends and provide practical recommendations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across operational and corporate teams.
• Passion for identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and business performance.
• Understanding of relevant legislation, standards and assurance frameworks.
• Confidence investigating issues and supporting effective resolution.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development and delivery of assurance plans that focus on key business risks and controls.
• Deliver assurance reviews and support investigations relating to business events, operational activities and change initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and strengthen control environments.
• Work closely with operational teams, contractors and business leaders to agree actions and drive positive outcomes.
• Produce clear assurance reports that communicate findings, recommendations and opportunities for improvement.
• Promote best practice and support the sharing of lessons learned across the organisation.
• Contribute to regulatory reporting and assurance activities that support compliance and business performance.
