Job summary

Cadent Gas Ltd is seeking a Risk and Assurance Support Officer to help deliver second-line assurance across Capital Delivery projects and our supply chain. You will analyse information, identify risks and support assurance programmes to drive improvements in performance and compliance.

You will work with the Risk, Reporting and Assurance teams to ensure robust assurance, effective risk management and meaningful recommendations that enhance controls across operations and contracted partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in assurance, auditing, risk management or compliance in a regulated environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of assurance plans focusing on key risks and controls.
• Deliver assurance reviews and support investigations relating to business events and change initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and performance.
• Engage with operational teams, contractors and leaders to agree actions.
