Job summary

Cadent Gas is seeking a Risk and Assurance Support Officer to help drive second-line assurance across Capital Delivery projects and our supply chain. You will analyse information, identify risks and support improvements in controls and compliance.

Working with the Risk, Reporting and Assurance team, you will plan, design and deliver assurance activities, produce clear reports and drive lessons learned across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in assurance, auditing, risk management or compliance within a regulated environment.
• Ability to assess information, identify trends and provide practical recommendations.
• Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of assurance plans focusing on key business risks and controls.
• Deliver assurance reviews and support investigations relating to business events and change initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen control environments.
• Collaborate with operational teams, contractors and leaders to implement actions and drive improvements.
• Produce clear assurance reports communicating findings and recommendations.
