Job summary

Chadwick Nott Legal Recruitment is representing a Risk & Compliance Solicitor role in Bristol. The successful candidate will work within a Top 100 UK law firm, supporting regulatory and governance frameworks and advising on compliance matters across the business.

You will engage with client onboarding, file management, engagements and controls, while contributing to policy development, audits, and training. A proactive, tech‑savvy mindset will help drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 2 years' PQE.
• Experience of working within a law firm environment.
• Knowledge of SRA Standards and Regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Confidence delivering guidance, training and constructive challenge.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• An interest in legal technology and the compliance considerations surrounding AI.

Responsibilities

Risk & Compliance Solicitor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join the Risk & Compliance team of a highly regarded Top 100 UK law firm with a strong national presence and Legal 500-recognised expertise, playing a key role in supporting and strengthening the firm's regulatory and governance framework.

Working closely with legal and business services teams, you'll provide practical advice on compliance matters, support risk management initiatives and help embed best practice across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Advising on regulatory and compliance issues across the firm

Candidate Requirements

You’ll ideally have:
