Salvation Army Homes is seeking a Junior Building Compliance Manager on a 6‑month fixed term basis to oversee a national housing portfolio’s compliance. Reporting to the Compliance M&E Manager, you will coach Compliance Officers and drive safe, compliant operations across gas, electrical, fire, water hygiene, asbestos, lifting equipment and broader building safety duties.

• Experience supervising Compliance Officers and teams.
• Proven delivery of statutory compliance programmes in housing.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, fire safety, water hygiene and building safety.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of Compliance Officers with coaching and performance management.
• Coordinate statutory compliance programmes across housing portfolio.
• Drive continuous improvement in performance reporting and safety.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and regulators on inspections and works.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor performance trends and identify risks for informed decisions.
