Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an interim Compliance Team Manager in Littlehampton, West Sussex, to lead the team responsible for health and safety compliance across housing stock. You will oversee gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene and lifts, manage contractors, and report to senior managers.

The role requires proven compliance leadership, strong knowledge of landlord obligations, and the ability to drive improvements in a local authority setting.

Qualifications

Proven experience in compliance or building safety management.
Strong knowledge of landlord health and safety obligations (gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, legionella, lifts).
Experience leading or supervising a compliance/technical team.
Experience managing contractors and compliance contracts.
Ability to analyse compliance data and report to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise and support the compliance team and allocate workload.
Oversee compliance across gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, legionella, water hygiene and lifts.
Review performance data and implement action plans to close gaps.
Monitor safety checks, certificates and remedial works for timeliness and accuracy.
Manage contractor performance and contract management.
