Job summary

Rigging Services is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / Lifting Equipment Technician for our Canvey Island branch. This role is based on site, Monday to Friday, with some overtime and permanent contract terms.

You will manage stock control, data entries and ensure compliance with safety standards while maintaining clean, well-organised work areas. A strong team player who can work independently is essential for success in our dynamic entertainment industry projects.

Qualifications

Lodestar and Liftket trained technician preferred.
LEEA qualifications are desirable; additional training is offered on other items.
Electrical or hire inspection background.
Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

To liaise with the Centralised Sales & Management Teams.
To be actively involved in managing stock control, data entries and other processes as required from day to day.
To ensure that all company standards are upheld, in particular, working to all safety specifications and legislation.
To ensure that all work areas are clean, tidy, and comply with good workplace standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
Work closely with the Hire Controllers and Managers to ensure the inventory is correctly processed and stored.
To maintain, inspect and test company and customer equipment in accordance with all statutory regulations periodic examinations of lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with all statutory regulations for our clients and our own inventory.
