Job summary

Rigging Services on Canvey Island is seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor / Lifting Equipment Technician to join our team. You will manage stock, coordinate data entry, and ensure compliance with safety standards while supporting the hire and service of lifting equipment for events and venues.

Qualifications

• LEEA qualifications desirable; further training provided.
• Electrical or hire inspection background.
• Driving Licence.
• Lodestar and Liftket trained technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• To liaise with the Centralised Sales & Management Teams
• To manage stock control, data entries and other day-to-day processes
• To ensure safety specifications and legislation compliance
• To keep work areas clean, tidy, and compliant with good workplace standards
• Work closely with the Hire Controllers and Managers to ensure the inventory is correctly processed and stored
• To maintain, inspect and test company and customer equipment in accordance with all statutory regulations

Duties:

• To liaise with the Centralised Sales &Management Teams
• To be actively involved in managing stock control, data entries and other processes as required from day to day
• To ensure that all company standards are upheld, in particular, working to all safety specifications and legislation
• To ensure that all work areas are clean, tidy, and comply with good workplace standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
• Work closely with the Hire Controllers and Managers to ensure the inventory is correctly processed and stored
• To maintain, inspect and test company and customer equipment in accordance with all statutory regulations periodic examinations of lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with all statutory regulations for our clients and our own inventory

Skills/Qualifications:

• LEEA qualifications are desirable; additional training is offered on other items
• Electrical or hire inspection background
• Driving Licence
• Lodestar and Liftket trained technician preferred
