Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the UK’s iconic attractions in Surrey. You’ll work on rollercoasters, water rides and ride control systems in a unique outdoor environment, combining preventative maintenance with fault finding.

You’ll carry out daily safety inspections, read schematics, and maintain PLC controlled equipment with a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance or similar engineering environments.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic capability.
• Hands-on approach with excellent problem solving.
• Level 3 qualification or above in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily safety inspections and pre-opening checks across a wide range of electrical systems and attractions.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance to maximise reliability and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using a logical and methodical approach.
• Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns and operational issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment and automated systems.
• Work across rollercoasters, water rides, themed attractions and electrical infrastructure.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
• Accurately complete maintenance records and compliance documentation.
