Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group Ltd in Surrey (near London) is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to keep high-profile UK attractions safe and running. You’ll work on rollercoasters, water rides, ride control systems, PLCs and electrical infrastructure in a unique outdoor environment.

The role offers rotating shifts 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, permanent contract, and a salary around £47,043 plus benefits.

Qualifications

Experience within electrical maintenance, manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, automation or similar engineering environments.
Strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic capability.
A hands on approach with excellent problem solving skills.
The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

Carry out daily safety inspections, testing and pre-opening checks across electrical systems and attractions.
Perform planned preventive maintenance to maximise reliability and performance.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
Respond to breakdowns and operational issues quickly and effectively.
Maintain and troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment and automated systems.
Work across rollercoasters, water rides, themed attractions and electrical infrastructure.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and operations teams to ensure attractions remain safe and available.
Read schematics and maintain maintenance records and compliance documentation.
