Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team on-site in the UK. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems and PLC fault finding across the site, including Siemens PLCs and DCS components.

Qualifications

Experience maintaining electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
Proficient at maintaining and fault-finding PLCs.
Strong ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Electrical qualifications are essential.
Engineering or Manufacturing background is essential.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC motors and PLCs to minimize downtime.
Diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals, ensuring safe repair.
Return equipment to operation promptly with minimal disruption.
