Job summary

Freudenberg Flow Technologies is seeking a Customer Support Representative I to manage RFQ intake, clarify requirements, and liaise with procurement, engineering and production to quote accurately. You will enter data into SAP, price with margins, and support the quotation package through internal reviews. Strong communication and organisation are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding manufacturing processes for FO> product range and relating to client quotations.
• Able to read technical drawings, data sheets and specifications.
• Confident communicator with customers, colleagues and peers at all levels.
• Ownership mindset to take decisions and problem solve with available tools.
• Team player who collaborates inside and outside the department.
• Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong numeracy to work with figures and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer RFQs and review or route for quotation.
• Acknowledge quotations and engage with customer to meet expectations.
• Register RFQs, assess commercial and technical requirements.
• Review technical data, drawings and specs for quotation viability.
• Coordinate with engineering for input or with Proposals Manager.
• Build quotations with procurement pricing and margins.
• Enter data into SAP and verify pricing against history.
• Liaise with production on capacity and timeframes.
• Prepare quotation package for internal review and approval.
• Submit package to customer and update records.
• Maintain professionalism in customer communications.
• Resolve scope or queries with engineering, production or procurement as needed.
• Verify PO against quotation and prepare handover package for execution.
• Self-manage quotations and ensure timely responses.
• Contribute to improving the Proposal Department, standards and procedures.
• Occasional overtime may be required.
