Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Proposal Developer 1 to create high-quality budgets and proposals for assigned customers, supporting the global sales organization. You’ll review RFPs, coordinate inputs from stakeholders, and ensure proposals are accurate, compliant, and aligned with customer requirements.

Responsibilities include developing narratives and budgets for new proposals, supporting other developers, maintaining processes, and contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience in proposal development, budgeting, or sales support preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to produce accurate documents under deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with proposal management tools and databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs to identify required information for proposals and budgets.
• Develop proposal narratives and cost budgets for new proposals and change orders.
• Provide support to other Proposal Developers as needed.
• Revise preliminary agreements and budgets to reflect the defined scope.
• Maintain understanding of processes, policies and guidelines for proposal development.
• Participate in customer calls to clarify requirements and identify gaps.
• Perform quality control reviews on proposals for accuracy and consistency.
• Support finalization and distribution of proposal documents to customers and internal teams.
• Update corporate systems and databases with accurate information.
• Participate in customer meetings to support proposal development.
• Contribute to departmental and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
