Job summary

Primark is seeking an RFID Analyst to join our technology team in the UK. You will analyze RFID and operational data to improve availability, drive value across the supply chain, and generate actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with RFID-generated data.
• Over 5 years’ experience in retail or supply chain environments.
• Advanced analytical skills with dashboards and managing complex datasets using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret data from multiple sources, draw evidence-based conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated awareness of retail industry trends and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RFID and operational data to identify high-volume continuity merchandise, recommending targeted actions in partnership with supply chain and logistics teams to improve availability and performance.
• Evaluate RFID count saturation test results across departments and depots, providing insights to optimise inventory accuracy and operational effectiveness.
• Identify, quantify, and drive value realization opportunities across all phases of RFID implementation, including sales growth, shrink reduction, and process efficiency improvements.
• Develop and present robust business case proposals, partnering with Finance to validate benefits, costs, and return on investment.
• Leverage industry best practices, vendor partnerships, and external retail networks to shape and deliver the RFID roadmap and future use cases.
• Apply predictive analytics and market insights to drive performance improvements, while effectively communicating progress, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
