Job Description

Essco Calibration Laboratory, one of the largest accredited calibration laboratories in the US, is looking for a RF Test Equipment Calibration Technician to join the team. Positions are available on the first and second shift.

Seeking a dynamic, self-motivated RF Calibration Technician to calibrate a wide range of high-frequency test equipment in our NVLAP accredited commercial calibration laboratory.

Requirements:

1. Three years of experience as a bench technician
2. Military PMEL training or equivalent formal technical training
3. Experience calibrating Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Pulse Generators, Frequency Counters, and Power Meters using manual and automated (SureCal/MetCal) procedures
4. Ability to apply metrology experience to a wide range of electronic instrumentation
5. Familiarity with the requirements of ISO 17025, ISO 9001, and ANSI/NCSL Z-540
6. Computer literacy and ability to use lab management software
