Babcock Harrogate is seeking a Systems Engineer to contribute to mission-critical RF communications solutions within the Defence sector. You will work across concept through verification, validation and acceptance, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and customers to deliver robust systems that meet security requirements.

The role is full-time with hybrid working (3 days onsite, 2 at home) in Harrogate, near York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with RF communications and complex systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering processes and verification/validation activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Systems Engineering expertise for highly complex RF-communications projects.
• Support Validation, Verification, Testing and Acceptance activities; build and run test cases.
• Create and present technical documents; manage lifecycle documentation updates.
