Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Systems Engineer for a hybrid role based in Harrogate. You will work on mission-critical RF communications solutions for defence and national security, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams from concept through verification and deployment.

You will contribute to design, testing, and documentation, ensuring adherence to lifecycle processes and milestones while supporting project delivery within an integrated, growing mission technologies environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering.
• HNC/HND with equivalent, relevant experience welcomed.
• Security clearance eligibility required or feasible for role.

Responsibilities

• Provide Systems Engineering expertise for highly complex RF-communications projects.
• Support Validation, Verification, Test and Acceptance activities and associated trials.
• Create and present technical engineering documents and manage lifecycle documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations and Subject Matter Experts to plan and deliver projects.
