Job summary

Babcock International Group seeks a Systems Engineer for Harrogate with hybrid working arrangements. You will deliver advanced RF-communications solutions supporting defence operations, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers and customers from concept to verification, validation and acceptance.

The role requires systems engineering expertise across the lifecycle and the ability to manage documentation and delivery against schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Holistic lifecycle management within system of systems environments.
• Engineering life cycle (V-Model or equivalent) from concepts to support.
• Experience in Verification, Validation and Transition to Service, including test plan/case/script development.

Responsibilities

• Provide Systems Engineering expertise for highly complex RF-Communications projects per the Engineering Management Plan.
• Support Validation, Verification, Test and Acceptance activities and participate in building, testing and trialling of solutions.
• Create and present technical engineering documents and manage lifecycle documentation with acceptance/test cases.
• Collaborate with Operations and Subject Matter Experts to plan and execute project delivery.
• Liaise with Principal Systems Engineer and Project Manager to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
