Job description

Our client, a growing and technically specialised engineering business, are looking for an RF Product Specialist in Nottinghamshire to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a technically focused role supporting the development, specification and management of a niche RF interconnect product portfolio. The position offers flexibility in seniority and the opportunity to work closely with engineering and technical teams within a growing and highly specialised area of the business.

Key responsibilities of the RF Product Specialist job based in Nottinghamshire:
  • Provide technical support and product expertise across a range of RF and interconnect products.
  • Develop a strong understanding of RF product specifications, applications and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering, production and other technical teams to support product development and improvement.
  • Assist with the technical evaluation, specification and selection of RF and interconnect components.
  • Support customers and internal teams with technical queries relating to RF products and applications.
  • Review product data, specifications and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and suitability.
  • Contribute to the development and introduction of new RF products and technologies.
  • Support technical problem-solving and provide product knowledge across the wider business.
Experience required for the RF Product Specialist job based in Nottinghamshire:
  • Experience working with RF, microwave, interconnect or related electronic technologies.
  • Strong technical understanding of RF products, components and applications.
  • Knowledge of RF connectors, coaxial products, cable assemblies or associated interconnect technologies would be highly desirable.
  • Experience within industries such as RF interconnect, aerospace, defence, satellite or telecommunications would be beneficial.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, datasheets and engineering requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a technically inquisitive approach.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineering, production and other technical teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
