Job summary

Holt Executive Ltd is seeking a Senior RF Electronics Engineer to join an innovative engineering team in Cambridgeshire. You will design, prototype and verify RF and analogue systems across challenging applications.

The role includes engaging with customers and communicating complex technical concepts to stakeholders, with UK SC Clearance eligibility. You will work across the development lifecycle from concept to testing and verification.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of post-graduate experience designing RF-based circuits.
• Experience taking RF products from concept to design verification.
• Strong microwave, RF and analogue design and simulation skills.
• Excellent communication to explain complex technical subjects clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test RF and analogue electronic circuits and systems.
• Take RF products from initial concept through prototyping, development and design verification.
• Perform RF, microwave and analogue circuit design and simulation.
• Contribute to RF amplifier, filter and frequency synthesiser design.
• Develop innovative technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support laboratory testing, debugging and performance optimisation using advanced RF test equipment.
• Communicate engineering decisions and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of engineering processes and technical approaches.

We are looking for an experienced Senior RF Electronics Engineer to join an innovative engineering team working on the development of advanced RF and electronic systems across a range of technically challenging applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across different technologies and projects, taking new concepts frominitialdesign through to prototyping,testingand successful verification.

You will work alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, contributing to the design, development and testing of new RF-based systems and products. The role also offers the opportunity to engage directly with customers and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test RF and analogue electronic circuits and systems.
• Take RF products and modules frominitialconcept through prototyping,developmentand design verification.
• Perform RF, microwave and analogue circuit design and simulation.
• Contribute to the design of RF amplifiers, filters, frequencysynthesisersand associated circuitry.

About You

You will ideally have:

• A degree or MEng in Electronic Engineering, RFEngineeringor a related discipline.
• 6+ years of post-graduate experiencedesigning RF-based circuits and systems.
• Proven experience developing RF products or modules from concept through to design verification.
• Strong microwave, RF and analogue design and simulation skills.
• Experience with RF amplifier,filterand frequency synthesiser design.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical subjects clearly.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with radio and/or radar systems.
• Experience with open architecture standards such asOpenCPI, STICS or SOSA.
• Team leadership or line management experience.
• Digital circuit design experience.
• Experience working atmmWavefrequencies.
