Job summary

IC Resources in Cambridge is seeking an RF/mmWave IC Design Engineer to join its R&D team to develop high-performance RFICs for next-generation wireless technologies. The role is office-based at the client’s R&D centre in Cambridgeshire, with opportunities across experience levels.

The ideal candidate will work on architecture, design, verification and optimization of RF circuits using advanced CMOS technologies, with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, RF Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong fundamentals in RF circuit design and analysis
• Practical IC tapeout experience
• Experience in mmWave circuit design is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the specification, architecture, circuit design, implementation and verification of RF integrated circuits and subsystems
• Developing and optimising high-performance RF circuits for advanced wireless applications

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an RF/mmWave IC Design Engineer to join a global team developing advanced semiconductor technologies for next-generation 5G and 6G wireless applications.

This is a full-time office-based role at our client’s R&D centre in Cambridgeshire.

This opportunity is open to engineers across a range of experience levels, from talented early-career engineers to highly experienced senior and principal-level specialists. You will contribute to the design and development of high-performance RF integrated circuits, working on innovative architectures and circuit solutions using advanced CMOS technologies.

Responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the specification, architecture, circuit design, implementation and verification of RF integrated circuits and subsystems
• Developing and optimising high-performance RF circuits for advanced wireless applications
• Supporting design verification, testing and troubleshooting to achieve performance targets.
