Job summary

IC Resources is working with a specialist RF and microwave technology business near Manchester, developing high-performance hardware for communications, aerospace, defence and other demanding RF applications.

They are looking for an RF Engineer to design and develop high-performance RF and mmWave circuits, components and subsystems, taking ideas from concept through simulation, prototyping, testing and production.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of RF design principles.
• Comfort with RF measurement equipment.
• Experience with microwave hardware preferred.
• Ability to own problems from design through test.

Responsibilities

• RF and microwave circuit and subsystem design.
• Simulation, analysis and performance optimisation.
• RF measurement, characterisation and troubleshooting.
• Prototype and production hardware validation.
• Supporting designs through to manufacture.
• Producing design documentation, test plans and reports.
• Providing input into new products and future technology development.
