IC Resources is working with a specialist RF and microwave technology business developing high-performance hardware for communications, aerospace, defence and other demanding RF applications near Manchester.
They design and manufacture complex RF, microwave and mmWave products in-house, giving engineers exposure to the full development lifecycle from early-stage design and simulation through to prototype, test and production.
Our client is looking for an RF Engineer to work on the design and development of high-performance RF and mmWave circuits, components and subsystems.
The RF Engineer will take designs from concept through simulation, prototyping, characterisation and validation, working closely with wider electronics, mechanical, systems and manufacturing teams.
This role would suit an RF Engineer with practical experience designing and testing RF or microwave hardware.
You should have a solid understanding of RF design principles and be comfortable working with RF measurement equipment and taking ownership of technical problems from design through to test.
Experience across microwave or mmWave frequencies, RF subsystem development or bringing hardware into production would be particularly relevant.
This is a hands-on RF engineering position where you will work on technically demanding products rather than being limited to one small part of the development process.
You will have exposure to advanced RF and mmWave technology, well-equipped design and test facilities, and projects where RF performance is central to the end product.
