Job summary

MBDA in Bolton is seeking an RF & Electronics Engineer to lead production support for datalink products in a busy manufacturing environment. You will interface between the Design Authority in Stevenage and Bolton manufacturing teams to ensure high yield, drive test-focused troubleshooting and support continuous improvement in production tests.

The role requires hands-on RF design, testing and leadership across RF components, circuits and systems, with strong collaboration across Engineering,

Qualifications

• Proven RF design, testing and fault-finding of RF circuits across a wide frequency range including LNA/HPA, filters and modulators.
• Experience with RF design tools (e.g., Microwave Office) including layout.
• Significant RF test & measurement experience with VNA, spectrum analysers and measurement uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Lead production support for datalink products at Bolton manufacturing facility.
• Coordinate between Design Authority and Manufacturing to maintain high yield and resolve production issues.
• Provide RF technical leadership to the support team and guide design-for-test and design-for-manufacture efforts.
