Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd in Bolton seeks an RF & Electronics Engineer for a production support lead role focused on datalink products used in missile systems. The role interfaces with Design Authority and Bolton manufacturing teams to maintain high yield and resolve issues promptly.

You will lead factory trials, gather evidence, and guide other engineers on RF components, circuits, and test equipment, contributing to design for test/manufacture improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven RF design, testing and fault finding across a wide frequency range.
• Experience with RF production test requirements and equipment.
• Strong practical skills including soldering and building development/test boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead production support for Datalink products in Bolton, interfacing between Design Authority and Manufacturing.
• Respond to manufacturing/design issues affecting delivery with emphasis on yield.
• Conduct factory trials and generate evidence to support root cause analysis.
• Provide RF technical leadership and guidance to other support engineers.
• Focus on Design for Test and Design for Manufacture feedback.
