Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Bristol seeks a Radio Frequency Engineer – Aerothermal to shape defence propulsion systems within the GCAP programme. You will work at the intersection of physics, aerothermal performance and computational modelling to deliver innovative RF design solutions.

You will join a niche, highly collaborative team and develop expertise across technical leadership, systems integration or advanced research pathways, with hybrid working patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Physics or Engineering or regional equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of electromagnetic analysis and design methodologies.
• Experience with commercial CEM tools (FEKO CST HFSS).

Responsibilities

• Define and translate RF requirements into design constraints for integration.
• Develop and assess powerplant concepts meeting RF demands with advanced methods.
• Collaborate across engineering to reduce risk and verify requirements.
• Lead capture and communication of RF knowledge, data, and evidence cataloguing.
