Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative for Castlereagh Hills Golf Club, Belfast. This role involves providing high-level housekeeping to client specifications and responding to customer needs with professionalism.

The position requires strong attention to detail and customer service experience, with basic safety literacy. 3 hours weekly on Sundays, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and reliability in cleaning tasks.
• Basic reading/writing/speaking/listening for safety instructions.
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-level housekeeping/cleaning to client standards.
• Responding courteously to customer requirements and performing duties professionally.
• Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site-wide.
• Checking equipment and keeping it clean and in good order at end of shift.
• Participating in Health and Safety policy; reporting hazards to Line Manager.
• Complying with Health, Safety & Hygiene standards and HACCP as required.
• Reporting defective equipment or surfaces to Line Manager.
• Reporting suggestions, comments or complaints to Line Manager.

The Role:

• Providing the highest level of housekeeping/Cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients’ specifications
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines used during hours of work and all the equipment is left clean and in good working order at the end of your shift
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, near misses or hazards you encounter to your Line Manager
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all HACCP regulations as necessary
• Report defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces or any other Health and Safety issues to your Line Manager
• Ensure all suggestions, comments or complaints are reported to the Line Manager.

The Person:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speakingand listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.
