Job summary

Kinship is hiring a Revit Content Specialist to design and build high-quality Revit families that are clean, usable, and well-structured. This role focuses on function, clarity, and performance, not just geometry, and involves aligning with our standards across projects.

• 3+ years of hands-on Revit experience, with a focus on family creation.
• A deep understanding of how families are used in real-world project workflows.
• Strong working knowledge of shared parameters, types, visibility settings, and nesting.
• Experience with hosted and non-hosted families, face-based, line-based, etc.
• Familiarity with Revit content standards — any or multiple — is a plus.
• Comfort reviewing and working with customer-specific content libraries and standards.

Our platform helps architects and engineers manage Revit content, improve workflows, and bring more clarity to complex projects. We also create high-quality Revit families — some shared freely with our customers and the wider industry, others developed specifically for manufacturers.

We’re hiring a Revit Content Specialist to help us design and build that content — families that are clean, beautiful, and genuinely usable. This isn’t about cranking out geometry — it’s about crafting content that works the way real users need it to, with attention to structure, performance, and clarity.

If you’ve built families that people love (and don’t swear at), understand lookup tables, formula-driven parameters, family templates inside and out, and know your way around nested families, this might be your dream job.

In this role, you will:
