Zusammenfassung

Civica is seeking a Revenues, Housing Benefits, Assessment and OnDemand Officer to support Local Authorities in delivering accurate, compliant benefits and revenue services. You’ll assess claims, manage accounts, and respond to customers with clarity while following legislation.

With minimum 3 years’ experience, you’ll join a team that values accuracy, policy adherence and stakeholder communication, using CIS and other processing systems to ensure timely liabilities, entitlements and payments.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years’ experience in Revenues and/or Benefits.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Confident decision-maker on liability, recovery, and overpayments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to handle complex queries and sensitive situations.
• Highly organised, accurate, and deadline-driven.
• Strong IT skills and experience with online processing systems.

Aufgaben

• Deliver revenues and benefits processing across client contracts with accuracy.
• Assess Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims and manage related tasks.
• Handle billing, recovery, enforcement, and overpayments.
• Prepare cases for court or tribunal where needed.
• Respond to customer and stakeholder queries clearly and confidently.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policy and DWP guidance.
• Identify irregularities and escalate as appropriate.
