Cognita is looking for a Revenue Assistant to join their UK Finance team. This full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract role involves supporting debt recovery efforts and liaising with various stakeholders. About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Revenue Assistant to join our UK Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Revenue Controller, you will support debt recovery efforts, assist with case referrals to solicitors, and maintain accurate records. Your responsibilities include liaising with Finance Managers, Heads of Finance, external parties, updating systems, managing email correspondence related to revenue, and providing timely updates to facilitate recovery. The role requires confidence in handling difficult conversations with parents and stakeholders, and the ability to challenge decisions when necessary. If you are organized, data-savvy, and enjoy problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your finance career within a collaborative, purpose-driven team.
This is a full-time 6-month fixed-term contract role, starting in June. The position is home-based with occasional travel to collaborate with schools and finance teams.

Who we are looking for:
A dependable, self-motivated professional with experience in a similar financial role such as Credit Control or Revenue. You should have strong Excel skills, confident communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Experience working with data, liaising with stakeholders, and administrative diligence are essential. You bring integrity, a solutions-focused mindset, and are highly organized, capable of managing sensitive financial data and engaging with schools, parents, solicitors, and colleagues. A commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing, adaptability, and team support are also required.
