Job summary

Dove House Hospice Limited is seeking a part-time Re-Use Driver & PAT Tester in Hull and East Yorkshire. The role involves driving a 3.5 ton Luton van for collections and deliveries, plus PAT testing and stock preparation to keep the Re-Use operation running smoothly.

We are looking for someone practical, reliable and positive who can work as part of a team and provide friendly, professional service to customers and volunteers while supporting the hospice’s care services.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a 3.5 ton Luton van.
• Experience with PAT testing is advantageous.
• Ability to handle manual handling tasks and physical work.
• Good communication with customers and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and delivering items as part of the Re Use operation.
• Preparing stock for display and sale.

Location: Hull and East Yorkshire

Salary: £25,986 FTE, actual salary £20,788

Hours of work: 30 hours per week to be worked 4 out of 7 days on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday (this will include Bank Holidays). Daily hours 08:45-17:15 if working Monday to Saturday, 09:45-16:15 if working Sunday

This is a fast paced, hands on role where no two days are the same. From collecting and delivering items to preparing stock and carrying out PAT testing, you’ll help keep our Re Use operation running smoothly while delivering great service to customers, colleagues and volunteers.
