Job summary

GXO is seeking a Returns Team Member at our Stafford site to manage reverse logistics of returns across categories. You will be part of the Stock & Systems Department and report to the Returns Team Manager in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role operates on a full-time, permanent basis with a rotating day shift from 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, five days out of seven, at GXO's Stafford facility. Salary is £26,812.50 per annum with 31 days of annual leave and additional benefits.

Here at GXO we have an excellent opportunity to appoint a new Returns Team Member for our warehouse team at our Stafford site for our customer Screwfix. Working within our Stock & Systems Department and reporting to the Returns Team Manager, you will be involved with the reverse logistics of multiple return categories of stock, ensuring that all return movements - in and out of the department, are administered and controlled in line with agreed procedures.

This is a full time, permanent position working on a rotating day shift pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, working 5 days out of 7.

We're looking to offer a salary of £26,812.50 per annum, 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

• Receive and audit inbound returns including unloading and loading trailers
• Prepare stock for inter site transfers and RTV collections

• Prepare the layout of reverse pick aisles weekly

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience of warehouse management systems within a distribution operation
• Flexible and have a high level of self-motivation in what is an extremely time critical operation
• PC skills required data entry and use of e-mails
• Able to operate MHE and act upon initiative
• Physically able to carry out manual activities
