Job summary

Carhartt WIP is recruiting a part-time Returns Operative for our Ashford warehouse, initially on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will be hands-on in our ecommerce operation, processing customer returns and ensuring products are handled accurately from arrival.

Key duties include checking, sorting, scanning, and quality controlling returned items while maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. The role suits someone with warehouse experience and a team-oriented mindset.

• Reliable, dedicated and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to support the wider team where needed.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Physically able to lift heavier items and stand for extended periods.

• Process and manage returned parcels efficiently and accurately.
• Sort and load parcels and products as required.
• Scan items into our systems and sort them according to their status.
• Carry out thorough quality control checks on returned products.
• Identify and report damaged or faulty goods to the Team Leader.
• Handle customer returns with care and attention to detail, helping to maintain a positive customer experience.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the wider warehouse and ecommerce teams to support day-to-day operations.

Your Profile

• We’re looking for someone who is:
• Experienced in a similar warehouse, logistics or ecommerce environment
