Job summary

Hexagon Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Operations & Returns Operative in Hawarden to run its returns and goods-in/out processes. You will log, assess, process, and where needed scrap returned units, keeping stock records accurate and up to date.

This is a temp-to-perm role with weekday hours, starting immediately, offering £16.00 per hour and a clear route to permanent employment as the business grows.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years' warehouse experience, ideally in goods in/goods out
• Experience in stock control, inventory or returns processing
• Confident IT skills and comfortable learning new systems
• A sharp eye for detail and accurate record-keeping
• Good physical fitness for hands-on warehouse work
• A proactive, problem-solving approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Handling goods in and goods out, including customer returns
• Inspecting faulty units, identifying faults and recording them accurately
• Scrapping faulty goods safely and in line with company procedures
• Updating the CRM and producing inventory reports
• Carrying out stock control and investigating discrepancies
• Supporting waste management and correct handling of materials
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Working closely with the wider team to keep daily operations running smoothly

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

About the role

Hexagon Recruitment is working with a growing company to find an experienced warehouse operative to run its returns and goods-in/out operation. You'll make sure returned units are logged, assessed, processed and, where necessary, safely scrapped, with stock records that are accurate and up to date. It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety, on a fast-paced site where your attention to detail makes a real difference. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, so for the right person there's a clear route to a permanent position with a business that's growing.
