Baily Garner LLP is seeking a qualified Retrofit Assessor to join our Eltham-based Retrofit team, delivering PAS 2035 assessments and reports using the Elmhurst platform across Greater London and the South East.

The role blends site surveys with office reporting, requires travel to project sites, and offers hybrid working, strong progression opportunities, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Retrofit Assessor with Level 3 Retrofit Award or equivalent.
• Accreditation through Elmhurst or recognised body.
• Good knowledge of PAS 2035 requirements and retrofit processes.
• Experience undertaking domestic property surveys.
• Strong report-writing and data management skills.
• Knowledge of residential construction and common building defects.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to sites.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team.
• Experience delivering assessments on SHDF/SHF, ECO, HUG or similar.
• Knowledge of social housing stock and retrofit delivery challenges.
• Experience using the Elmhurst platform.
• Experience in PAS 2035 retrofit teams.

Responsibilities

• Undertake PAS 2035-compliant Retrofit Assessments across domestic properties.
• Complete occupancy assessments, surveys and fabric inspections.
• Collect accurate data to support retrofit design and coordination.
• Identify defects and issues influencing retrofit proposals.
• Produce high-quality assessment reports using Elmhurst.
• Maintain PAS 2035 and TrustMark compliance and QA.
• Coordinate with Retrofit Coordinators, Designers and clients.
• Manage personal workload to meet project targets and deadlines.
• Ensure site inspections are conducted safely per procedures.
• Share knowledge to improve the retrofit team.
