Job summary

Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Retinal Photographer within the Diabetic Eye Screening team serving Barnsley and Rotherham. You will perform screening in clinic, manage drops, and capture retinal images with professional accuracy.

Ideally you will hold a Health Screeners Diploma or be willing to work towards it, have a full driving licence, access to a vehicle, and demonstrate excellent communication and patient-centred care in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Health Screeners Diploma or be willing to work towards it.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work use.
• Experience in hospital or community setting beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients independently within the clinic as a Retinal Photographer.
• Undertake visual acuity testing, instill eye drops and capture retinal photographs.
• Attend clinics across Barnsley and Rotherham; use of own vehicle for work.
