Team Manager

Location: NOTTINGHAM

Are you interested in retail and looking for a role involving high-profile projects for leading UK grocery and DIY chains? We offer salaried Team Manager roles working on New Stores, Refits, Range Reviews, and Store Support Projects. You will work in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions and leading teams to maintain excellent merchandising standards.

The Role

  • A typical week involves 48 hours, from Sunday to Thursday.
  • You will lead and support a team of merchandisers and replenishment staff executing client tasks.
  • Communicate progress and project completion with management.
  • Conduct health and safety inductions and checks.
  • Shift lengths are generally 12 hours, including days and nights (mostly nights). Shifts are scheduled via our Field Power platform, accessible on your smartphone, where you can set availability and accept shifts.
  • You will clock in and out using your smartphone through our RAS Dashboard.
  • Work locations vary across retail sites/stores, with travel involved per shift.
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Removing and replacing stock using client plans and systems.
  • Adjusting shelf heights.
  • Moving stock from warehouses to store floors using roll cages and pallet trucks.
  • Traveling when local work isn't available; accommodation is provided when staying away.
  • Making decisions and prioritizing tasks.
  • Previous experience in merchandising, retail supervision, or managing people is required.
  • Methodical approach and attention to detail are essential.
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting involved.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude are necessary.
  • Ability to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and nights, is required. Applicants must be 18+.
