Job summary

JD Group in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced retail store leader to drive sales, coach teams, and uphold premium customer service across the store. You’ll lead from the front, optimise operations, and ensure visual standards align with brand expectations.

You’ll analyse KPIs, plan shifts, manage service delivery, and empower colleagues to hit ambitious targets while maintaining high presentation, pricing accuracy, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading store teams or retail operations.
• Ability to analyse KPIs and sales data to support decision‑making and scheduling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interactions.
• Proven track record of driving sales performance in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Support store leadership with daily operations to hit sales targets and KPIs.
• Lead and guide colleagues on the shop floor, assign tasks, and uphold JD standards.
• Coach and develop staff with real‑time feedback and clear expectations from management.
• Maintain high presentation, pricing accuracy, stock and safety standards, and visuals.
• Deliver operational duties such as cash handling, till checks, deliveries, stock audits, and opening/closing routines.
