As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you’ll help us maintain our high standards day after day. In return, we’ll offer a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts. Our benefits package is designed to support your well-being and work-life balance.

What you'll do
- Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
- Solve problems quickly and delegate tasks effectively
- Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed
- Manage store operations and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
- Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure smooth shifts
- Provide excellent customer service on every visit
What you'll need
- Experience leading a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Ability to delegate tasks and motivate your team
- Patience and a friendly manner, with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Passion to be a key part of the Store Team
- Proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop
