Iceland Foods Ltd in Mansfield is seeking a committed Team Leader to join our growing business. You will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement for the time you manage shifts, while driving availability and delivering great customer service.

Lead and develop the store team, promote an inclusive culture, and follow all cash/security policies. This role offers clear career progression and strong teamwork in a bustling retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role ideal but not essential.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit: deliver great availability for customers.
• Sell a £1 & save a £1 to drive sales.
• Deliver on all actions set by your line manager.
• Proactively support and work with the Talking Shop Rep in your store.
• Support team engagement and create an inclusive culture.
• Follow cash handling and security policies & processes.
• Provide the best digital service through implementing all 'One Best Way' processes.
• Love your customers by being approachable and respectful.
• Work together by being enthusiastic and taking action.
• Care about the business and our people by being considerate.
