Job summary

Home Bargains is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to work with management to prioritise daily tasks and coach a fast-paced retail team. You’ll support onboarding, guide colleagues on store standards, and ensure the customer experience stays positive and efficient.

You will lead by example on the shop floor, keeping shelves tidy, assisting customers, and driving the team to hit targets while maintaining high energy and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising others in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Ability to prioritise and organise daily tasks effectively.
• Strong focus on delivering great customer service.
• Clear and confident communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the shop floor and support colleagues to meet store standards and targets.
• Help keep the store running smoothly, including merchandising, safety and compliance.
• Coach and develop team members; support onboarding of new starters.
• Contribute ideas to improve service and showcase products effectively.
• Maintain energy and team spirit across shifts to deliver great customer experiences.
