Job summary

Home Bargains is hiring a Team Leader to work in our Derby store. You will lead by example, guide a busy team, and ensure shelves are stocked, aisles are tidy, and the store runs smoothly with a strong emphasis on customer care.

You will develop leadership skills in a fast-paced retail environment, supervise colleagues, and drive great service while upholding store standards and safety policies. A supportive team and clear development opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising others in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to guide and develop a team.
• Clear, confident communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and keep daily priorities aligned with store targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations alongside the management team to keep things running smoothly.
• Coach and welcome new starters, and build skills across the team.
• Help create exceptional shopping moments by guiding service delivery.
• Maintain high store standards, merchandising, safety, and compliance.
• Share ideas to improve processes and boost energy and team spirit.
• Support a positive, energetic leadership presence on the shop floor.
