Cooplands Bakery is seeking a part-time Retail Team Leader in Acomb to guide frontline teams and ensure outstanding customer service. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.35 and requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with a focus on food safety and shop excellence.

You’ll lead a small team, open and close shifts as a key holder, and uphold standards across operations to deliver great bakery experiences every day.

• Lead by example to create a warm welcome and great customer experience.

• Take ownership to keep shifts running smoothly and maintain high standards.
• Open and close the shop as a key holder and support the Shop Manager.
• Stay positive, motivate the team and encourage best performance.
• Make decisions confidently, prioritise tasks and seek support when needed.
• Learn and develop others to build confidence.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities for service.
• Follow food safety procedures including hygiene and allergen rules.
• Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Handle food products safely, including meat and items with allergens.
