Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to support operations in a major High Street brand. This part-time role contracted to 16 hours per week involves supervising frontline colleagues, handling till payments, checking deliveries, and producing weekly rotas while upholding food safety and health & safety standards.

You will join a team that values progression and recognises effort, with training and development opportunities across 6,000 venues in the UK.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Using the till, taking order and receiving payments.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 16 hours per week.
