Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) to help ensure the smooth running of operations at a major High Street brand.

You will lead a small team, provide a welcoming environment, handle till duties, store deliveries, and contribute to weekly rotas, stock orders, and safety standards. This role offers progression opportunities and a supportive culture that recognises effort and individuality.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Operate till, take orders and handle payments.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager guidance.
• Place stock orders to maintain correct levels.
• Delegate tasks and maintain proactive team performance.
• Maintain Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Using the till, taking order and receiving payments
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Our ideal Retail Supervisor will:

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
