Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a part-time Retail Supervisor to ensure smooth operations across a major High Street brand. The role supports a 24-hour per week schedule, including shift planning, till operation and basic bookwork, with emphasis on food handling and health & safety standards.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory experience, excellent communication, and a positive, can-do attitude. The group offers progression opportunities and rewards employees who go beyond the plate.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Using the till, taking order and receiving payments.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 24 hours per week.
