Retail Supervisor at Sodexo – HM Naval Base, Portsmouth

Join the Sodexo team as a Retail Supervisor and play an integral role in running our dynamic convenience store, providing exceptional service to our Armed Forces personnel. Your leadership and customer-focused approach will help enhance the day-to-day lives of everyone you meet.

What you’ll do:

1. Lead by example and inspire your team to complete all tasks efficiently and to the highest standard.
2. Take charge of stock management, keeping a close eye on deliveries and ensuring shelves are fully stocked.
3. Supervise daily operations, manage team activities, and be the go-to person for customer queries and support.
4. Foster a positive and open-minded culture, driving new initiatives and creative ways of working within the store.
5. Promote and support offers, discounts, and loyalty schemes to enhance the customer experience.
6. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised store environment.
7. Confidently verify IDs for restricted items, ensuring compliance with store policies.
